Transportation

For seamless transportation options, Changi Airport provides direct access to the MRT rail network. The MRT station is conveniently located in the basement of Terminals 2 and Terminal 3, with direct connections to both terminals on opposite ends.

Passengers departing from Terminal 1 can utilise the Skytrain to reach either Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, where they can access the MRT station. Alternatively, walking between the two terminals is also an option, utilising the Mezzanine Level link bridge for a convenient and efficient transfer.

Early Check-In

Early check-in services are available at Changi Airport, allowing you to check in at least 3 hours prior to your flight, and potentially earlier in certain circumstances. However, it is essential to note that the availability of early check-in may vary depending on your airline and destination.

To ensure the latest information and to avoid any inconvenience, it is highly recommended to double-check the early check-in policies of your airline by visiting their website or contacting their customer service.

Also be aware that airline policies can change periodically without prior notice. For instance, in 2023, Qantas Airways revised their early check-in policy. Previously, Qantas offered early check-in facilities at the Jewel Lounge from 1 pm daily until 4 hours prior to scheduled flight departure[1]. However, their updated policy now permits passengers to utilise the early check-in facilities at the Jewel Lounge from 8 am to midnight daily, when check-in opens at the row 8 counters[2].

By verifying the early check-in details specific to your airline, you can effectively plan your travel and make the most of the services available at Changi Airport.

Early Check-In is offered inside of Jewel.
Located at Level 1 of Jewel Changi Airport. It opens daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 am[3].
